"36 degrees Celsius Summer, 18 degrees Celsius Guangwu Mountain " –—This summer, Guangwu Mountain , a cool wonderland that rivals Jiuzhaigou, is sending out a "refreshing invitation" to summer escape seekers.

Located in Bazhong City, southwest China's Sichuan Province, Guangwu Mountain boasts an average elevation of 1,200 to 2,500 meters, with a staggering forest coverage rate of 98.5% and over 600,000 acres of primeval forests. Thanks to its cool climate and exceptional ecological resources, Guangwu Mountain is becoming the top destination for tourists from Sichuan, Chongqing, and neighboring regions to escape the heat and enjoy forest wellness.

The Guangwu Mountain Sports Theme Park, which opened this June, features a Guinness World Record-holding glass water slide and the Red-Leaf Driving Route with a 109-meter drop. Together, they offer tourists a thrilling, exciting, and entertaining experience that also showcases the beauty of the landscape.

This summer, Guangwu Mountain has extended a “refreshing invitation” to those seeking relief from the heat. On June 11, the 12th Sichuan Guangwu Mountain Leisure and Summer Resort Season, along with the 4th Nuoshui River International Karst Cave Festival, officially kicked off in Chengdu and will run until September 30. Trade union members from both inside and outside Sichuan Province can sign up via the “Smart Journey in Ancient Sichuan” mini program to take part in union-sponsored events at the Guangwu Mountain and Nuoshui River scenic areas, featuring over 20 themed activities. Meanwhile, the Guangwu Mountain –Nuoshui River Cultural Tourism Integration Demonstration Zone has launched the “Cool Summer in Guangwu Mountain : A Gathering of Ten Thousand” summer retreat campaign, lasting until late August. The event includes a “Seven-Day In-Depth Tour” package that connects attractions such as Guangwu Mountain and the ancient town of Enyang, combined with wellness experiences, nighttime performances, and so on.
